My underwater mural for our master bathroom has finally been finished. It's a huge piece. 3 ft. tall and 6 ft. long.
Each mer-horse depicts a horse that we currently have or have had.
I began my first mosaic in August, 2011. Since then it has become one of my favorite hobbies. Always in search of treasures, glass, plates and great finds to place in the mosaics I make. This blog is also for displaying other crafts that my husband or I create.

Mosaic Wall Mantel
I bought the mantel at a garage sale for $2. The hubby replaced the particle board with a piece of birch. I used plates, stained glass, beads, flat marbles and acrylic gems in the design. We have it hanging in a spare bedroom now.

Broken Cross Make Over
a friend broke the cowgirl cross her daughter gave her. I told her I would glue it back together. She had no idea I was going to mosaic around it. She just thought I was going to glue the broken cross down to a board in the shape of the cross or on a plain board.
She loved it when I gave the fixed and made over cross to her.

Bass Mosaic
created this for my husband. It has one of his favorite crank baits on it. The bill cracked so I used it on this mosaic I made for him.
